1998 Charbono - Truly the best balanced wine with plenty of fruit. Has hints of chocolate, walnut, black cherry and blackberry. Very silky, full bodied with a great smooth finish. Slight toasted oak with nicely balanced acid. Aged in three year old American oak. Goes well with brie cheese.


1999 Meritage - Nice young blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Pinot Noir. Hints of blackberry, carmel, licorice and black currant. Good body, color with balanced acid and low in astringency. Has a buttery flavor and aged in American oak for 14 months. Vanillan, very silky finish. Mike's "backyard red."
