1999 Petite Syrah - Granite Hill Vineyard, El Dorado County. Emphasis on fruit, integrated flavors of balance through blending. Produce very few 100% varietals. Moderate level of new oak, wines spend most time in neutral French oak. Extended maceration for greater extraction is utilized when possible.
